Memorial to Norman Land

When Norman sadly and suddenly passed away last year many people asked if they could make a donation in his memory.  Norman's family have donated a sum of money towards the purchase of a trophy in Norman's memory, and members are invited to add to this sum.  The trophy will be awarded on an annual basis, to the winner of the photography class at our Annual Show.

Donations can be made at our shop at Prices Lane for the next few Saturdays.

Offer of horse manure

Mr John Haughton and his wife have provided a trailer load of horse manure from their stables. It has been left at Price's Lane in bags up at the top of the site where the compost and bark is left, for anyone to take away.  We are trying to get some delivered to the other sites too.

It's bagged, it's free and about 2 - 3 months old.

They say they can drop a trailer load, bagged up again, once a fortnight on a Saturday morning around 11am at least through the winter while their four horses are indoors.

They would like the thicker, re-useable bags returned if possible and suggest people should leave them at the shop and they will collect when they drop more off.
