September update 2

New stock

Winter onions  (Shakespeare and  Winter Red ) are now in stock.
Garlic (Solent Wight) is also in stock.  These are proving to be very popular and Pete is putting in a second order .

Survey

We have had some responses regarding shop opening hours.  If you haven’t yet  let us know your preferences then please let us know asap.  An email response would be fine or you could let us know at the shop.

 It has been suggested that some members might prefer different weekend opening times for the shop at the Prices Lane Allotment Site.   The Committee is therefore canvassing the views of members, with a view to reporting back to the Annual General Meeting in November and to the agreed times operating as from February.

The practice has been to open the shop on Saturday mornings from 10.00 to 12.00 and the various options on which we would like members’ views are set out below.

·         No Change (i.e. Saturdays 10.00 to 12.00)

·         Change to Saturdays 11.00 to 1.00

·         Change to Sundays 10.00 to 12.00

·         Change to Sundays 11.00 to 1.00

I’d be grateful if you would kindly let me know:

(a)  What your preference would be.

(b)  Whether you are an allotment holder or a leisure  gardener;
(c)  You Plot number and site, if you are an allotment holder.

Many thanks for your help.
